A wonderful collection of hand painted vases, dishes and candle holders.
Julie Childs has worked as a glass artist and designer for 20 years. She began her career as a glass engraver before introducing colour into her work in the form of a special glass paint. She has been filmed for the BBC2 Learning zone demonstrating the art of glass-painting.
Each glass is individually hand-painted, oven dried and embellished in a gold liner to bring it to life. Streaming sunlight or ambient candlelight shining through the coloured glass create a truly vibrant & uplifting effect.
